Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance Project (HRDGGP)
This project emphasizes collaborative peace building and women’s empowerment in the Darfur Region, Sudan. Community leaders are offered the opportunity to receive training in negotiation, conflict resolution and women’s empowerment. Families and organizations are encouraged to develop innovative ways to meet the psycho-social needs of victims of violence. The project is sponsored by the National Endowment for Democracy.

Institute for Internation Public Policy (IIPP)
The UNCFSP Institute for International Public Policy (IIPP) promotes excellence, international service and cultural competence among a representative cross-section of Americans. The IIPP Fellowship Program broadens access to international education and training opportunities for underrepresented minority college students (beginning in their sophomore year) through a comprehensive program of summer policy institutes, study abroad, intensive language training, internships, graduate study and student services that include mentoring and career development. Training in International Education, Affairs and Development Program (TIEAD)
TIAD provides internships, residencies, and research opportunities in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and professionals. Placement sites include public and private institutions, foreign governmental and non-governmental agencies, community organizations, and faith based organizations in the target countries of Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Mauritania, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa, and Uganda. TIAD is open to students and professionals, from any country, that have a strong interest in international development and language training. (* There is a $5,200 fee to participate in this program)
