EPA Student Diversity Internship Program

Aim of the project:

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is looking for energetic and highly motivated students for internships. Numerous opportunities are available with the agency for students to gain valuable work experience while contributing to the mission of protecting human health and safeguarding the environment. The program objectives are to: attract diverse groups of individuals to careers in the environmental related field of study and to enable college and graduate students to enhance their academic course work, with internships in EPA Headquarters, Regions and Labs.

Eligibility:

  • Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate Student
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Have a minimum of 2.8 G.P.A.
  • Attend a Department of Education accredited institution
  • May be pursuing a degree in the following fields:
    • Economics
    • Math
    • Science
    • Engineering
    • Business
    • Communications
    • Marketing
    • IT
    • Environmental Science
    • Environmental Management
    • Finance
    • Law
    • Other areas relating to public service and environmental concerns

 

Program Components:

Internship Term(s) - 10 Week Experience
