The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is looking for energetic and highly motivated students for internships. Numerous opportunities are available with the agency for students to gain valuable work experience while contributing to the mission of protecting human health and safeguarding the environment. The program objectives are to: attract diverse groups of individuals to careers in the environmental related field of study and to enable college and graduate students to enhance their academic course work, with internships in EPA Headquarters, Regions and Labs.

Be a U.S. Citizen

Have a minimum of 2.8 G.P.A.

Attend a Department of Education accredited institution

Internship Term(s) - 10 Week Experience

Spring Internship (20 hours per week)

Summer Internship (40 hours per week)

For summer session only, internship at EPA Headquarters, Regions and Labs (Field Offices)

Financial:

Undergraduate $5,000

Graduate $6,000
Non-Financial (for Summer Session only):

Travel to/from duty station (beginning and end of experience only)
