Curriculum Improvement Partnership Award (CIPA) Program
Program Overview
The Curriculum Improvement Partnership Award (CIPA) Program assists two-year and four-year Minority Institutions (MIs) with strengthening their STEM curricula and technical programming. CIPA funds novel advances in the instructional areas of STEM. Since launching in 1999, CIPA has contributed more than $10M to innovative programs at MIs.
In 2006, the CIPA program integrated project management methodologies to strategically enhance curricula. By infusing this style with existing STEM curricula, MIs have primed students for success in STEM careers by providing theoretical knowledge and “real-world” experiences.
